interior renovation | kitchen

When Project Madison got in touch about renovating their existing small kitchen that was disconnected from the rest of the living space, I jumped at the opportunity to bring the owners better functionality in both the kitchen and the entryway.

The enclosed kitchen was creating a very narrow entry hall which was dark and cramped as you entered the condominium. With the new design, the entry is gracious with expansive views into the living area and out the windows towards Lake Washington.

The expanded kitchen footprint and added peninsula creates space for more than one cook in the kitchen and space for friends to gather.

FAVORITE UNEXPECTED MOMENT

The built-in wine storage that we created with space that felt a bit too small to be a cabinet between the fridge and the entry
